Challenge
Promote the much anticipated arrival the new Sherlock exhibition and to launch the new Sherlock inspired ‘London Tweed’ designed by the museum and modelled by Tinie Tempah at London Collections Men.
Solution
- Secured Sir Ian McKellen, the most recent incarnation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s character Sherlock as spokesperson for a short film which was screened at the opening night. The video we also seeded to gain a wider interest.
- Created a short promotion video to celebrate and promote the opening of the exhibition for the Museum of London’s website and YouTube channel.
- Advised on photography to capture the most interesting exhibits, such as an authentic Victorian era deerstalker hat to enticing visitors and gain media coverage.
- For the second part of the campaign we created and distributed an editorial feature video to mark the launch of the ‘London Tweed’ featuring Tinie Tempah.
Results
- Seeded the video for the short film securing placements on the Huffington Post, Digital Spy, The List, the Mirror and the Evening Standard.
