Challenge
PA Media were commissioned to capture the Harry Potter exhibition and various items that were on display, as well as soundbites from the curators on how they chose the items that would be presented. The content was for the British Library to hand out to media should they request it. The video was also used to promote the exhibition and encourage the public to visit.
Solution
We wanted to capture the key elements of the exhibition and made sure that we got the most newsworthy items. We created an edit that showed all the main highlights of the exhibition with soundbites from the curators – we achieved this all in one and a half days of filming and editing.
Results
There was huge interest from media and many broadcast and online outlets created their own packages. The purpose of the B-Roll and edited package was for the British library to use to promote the exhibition and also to provide the footage to any media who requested it.
