Challenge
PA Assignments won a tender to create eight dance videos for each of the acts that were to perform at the end of January for Sadler’s Wells annual event – Sampled. The main challenge was being able to capture interviews from Argentina, Canada and France within two weeks and gathering enough stock footage of each performance to create a 2 minute video.
Solution
We hired local crews in Quebec and Buenos Aires and then interviewed two dance groups in Lille and the other four in London. We accumulated other stock footage of the dancers as well as capturing our own rehearsal material for the four UK based acts. We filmed and edited all eight videos within two weeks and were praised by the client.
Results
The videos were played on a cinema screen before each act walked on stage and were well received by the audience.
