Challenge
To bring to life an annual Kennel Club event in a new an interesting way that would catch the eye of journalists and video editors as well as creating a record of the event for the Kennel Club website and social channels.
Solution
Everyone loves dogs and what’s better than dogs running around in slow motion?! Precisely, so we filmed the dogs this way to really showcase the jumps and amazing tricks they were doing as well as to create a comical and entertaining aspect to the video. With regards to the story angle, we linked the event to the Olympics taking place in Rio by giving owners tips on how to train an Olympic-level doggy!
Results
The video ran on the PA wire securing coverage on MSN, BT, AOL, Belfast Telegraph, Independent.ie, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo News, Daily Motion. It was also posted on The Independent’s Facebook page and received over 32,000 views, 319 reactions and 85 shares.
