Challenge
To celebrate 200 years of the roller coaster, PA Media was commissioned to produce B-Roll and an edited video package for online media. Our aim was to achieve coverage of the video online to promote the re-opening of Thorpe Park for 2017.
Solution
With the story going live on Wednesday 22nd March, ahead of Thorpe Park re-opening for the season, initial outreach to media began the day before. This helped ensure that video desks were aware of the upcoming story and available content.
Results
Mail Online, the Mirror and the PA all ran the B-Roll. The package was also picked up by Independent.ie, AOL, Belfast Telegraph, and MSN. Further key coverage was also secured on the Telegraph, the Telegraph’s Facebook Page (video has had 7.8K views, 122 reactions, 25 shares and 6 comments to date) and the Sun.
